Jazz at Lincoln Center 2021–22

For Jazz at Lincoln Center’s return to full programming after COVID-19 lockdowns, the campaign needed to capture something beyond celebration. I directed a photo and video shoot that placed musicians alone on stage, in the quiet before performance: no audience, just the player, the instrument, and atmosphere. Figures emerge from haze and colored light, isolated but intimate, inviting the viewer into a space that feels both private and monumental. The stillness was intentional, honoring what had been lost while making the return feel earned. This was also the first season to fully embrace the new branding, from the website to marketing materials to the streaming service.
